ASUS Eee PC X101

Asus took the veil off its next-gen Eee PC netbook, a super-slim (17.6mm) and light (950 grams) machine called Eee PC X101 which packs a 10-inch (1024 x 600) display, a chiclet keyboard, an Atom processor  and runs Windows 7 or MeeGo and starting at $199. Asus Eee PC X101 features a 10 inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, processing is provided by a 1.5GHz Intel Atom Oak Trail processor and there is also Intel GMA 600 graphics.

ASUS evolves the Eee PC further with new models that take netbooks to ever-greater heights. The new Eee PC X101 has been designed from the start to be the perfect ultraportable for modern mobile users, with its Intel MeeGo operating system incorporating full support for a wide range of social networking services. Eee PC X101 Series netbooks are also offered with the Windows 7 operating system, and models ship with both solid state and mechanical hard drive storage configurations. The ASUS Eee PC X101 is a new netbook that is designed to perfectly meet the needs of the modern mobile user who lives and works online. Just 17.6mm thick and weighing less than 950g, the Eee PC X101 can be slipped into a bag and taken anywhere, but this is no cut-down portable computer – it packs a 10.1-inch screen, QWERTY keyboard and the latest Intel Atom N435 processor. Users can get online with 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, where the Eee PC X101 really comes into its own. The Intel MeeGo operating system has full support for a wide range of social networking services and a raft of productivity tools built in, making this a netbook that’s ready for use right out of the box. There’s also the X101H model, which has all the same features but comes with a hybrid hard drive and choice of Window 7 or MeeGo.

 

TGA TycooNet. TVB01 Tablet PC

TGA Technology is going to drop their newest tablet PC for the Japanese market. It has 10.1 inch capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1024×600, an Intel Atom N550 CPU at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, 120GB HDD, an Intel NM10 Express Chipset, Bluetooth, WiFi, USB 2.0, speakers that are built-in and the OS is Windows 7 32 bit.

Toshiba Launches Mini NB520 and NB500 Netbooks

Toshiba has recently announced two new models of its new netbook family naming as mini NB520 and mini NB500.Despite their minuscule size, these latest variants are packed in with feature-rich attributes,all in a compact size.

For the mini NB520, Toshiba claims that is the world’s first netbook with embedded premium speakers from Harman/Kardon for a vibrant bass and crystal clear trebles. It has a slim and stylish casing with textured exterior finish, measuring 261.9mm x 189.5mm x 16.6mm and weights 1.32kg with its 6 cell battery. The mini NB520 packs a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) TruBrite LED-backlit displays and is powered by Intel Atom N550 processors. Offer continue with up to a 250GB hard drive, Ethernet LAN, 802.11 b/g/n, 3x USB 2.0 including one with Sleep and Charge, 2-in-1 reader, Bluetooth 2.1(software upgrade to Bluetooth 3.0 will be available later) and VGA web camera with microphone.

The netbook is also equipped with multi-touch control touch Pad and mentioned Harman/Kardon stereo speakers with 2 x 2 watts output, backed by Dolby Advanced Audio technology. Additional features include Toshiba Sleep-and-Music, enabling you to play music through the speakers when the netbook is switched off. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter 32 bit, available in blue, brown, lime green, turquoise, and orange colors and offers up to 10 hours work time.

On the other hand mini NB500, it has almost the same features as its bigger brother, but lacks of Harmon/Kardon speakers and is powered by Intel Atom N455 and of course will come at more competitive price. The mini NB500 comes also in a black version. Both new mini’s will be available during the first quarter of 2011 throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The Toshiba Mini NB520 Netbook comes in a variety of colors including Blue, Brown, Lime Green, Turquoise, and Orange while the Mini NB500 comes in black. Both Netbooks will be available globally by the first quarter of 2011. No pricing information has announced.
