iBuildApp Android Builder To Create Android Apps

iBuildApp has just launched a new Android app creator called the Android Builder and ere’s no need to download any files to get started, plus its WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface makes it easy to get the job done. You won’t need to learn Java or any programming language just to build your app and you’ll be able to come up with simple apps such as restaurant menus, informative apps, travel guides, interactive books and so on.

iBuildApp announced a new Android app creator called Android Builder and the tool simplifies creating an iPhone and Android apps for smartphones. The iPhone solution has been live for a few months and has over 10,000 users. Small and large businesses can now easily create apps for Android devices without the need to hire expensive developers. “iBuildApp has been testing our iPhone building solution with small business for the past 7 months. We’ve found that it opens up a world of amazing creative ideas for how mobile apps can be used for marketing and entertainment,” said Rafael Soultanov, CEO of iBuildApp. The free solution allows anyone to create their own apps rather than hope developers create what they need. It also makes it easy to build and automatically publish an app to an app gallery. Some customers have become so good at creating iPhone apps they have started to make apps for others. The iBuildApp Android solution helps businesses to create Android apps using online WYSIWYG editor so it does not require any coding. Now anyone can build an Android app using the web interface, without any knowledge of Java (the language used to build Android apps). The web preview interface allows a quick preview of the app while building it, without having to test it on an actual device. There are many templates to choose from and the iBuildApp team is building 40-50 more. There will be templates for all types of business and personal uses, including for:

  • Restaurants
  • E-commerce stores
  • Insurance and real estate agents
  • Car dealers
  • Doctor and medical offices
  • Fitness centers
  • Corporations
  • Bloggers
  • Bookstores
  • Photo portfolios (and photographers)
  • Travel guides
  • Sports teams
  • Music
  • Personal social networking

iBuildApp will soon give users access to the GPS, SMS, Camera and other powerful features. These will be able to be used in many different configurations to be released in the second half of June. There has been a strong demand for the service. In the last 35 days the number of signups has almost doubled, beating all conservative estimates. iBuildApp is currently closing in on 10,000 apps mark in its App Gallery (similar to an app store). Those numbers are about to double this month and are expected to reach 40,000 by September. “Given the popularity of Android phones, we suspect the number of Android apps our customers build are likely to catch up to Apple quickly,” said Soultanov. Apple’s iPhone App Store has many more apps than the Android Market, with over 500,000 applications and games as of June 1st. In contrast Business Insider said in March 2011, that the Android Market has hit the 250,000+ mark. However, the gap is closing and is expected to close as fast as this August.

Twitter Integration For iOS

Apple announced that it’s bringing deep Twitter integration to all of its iOS-based devices and to many of its own apps, including Camera, Photos, Safari and Maps. That integration also extends to Contacts, where you’ll be able to link your contacts to their Twitter handle and keep their information updated.

Apple brings deep Twitter integration to iOS, which allowing users to easily tweet and share their photos, locations or even bookmarks from SafariiOS 5 will also now sync your contacts with their respective Twitter profiles automatically. Selecting this option will allow you to do three things; install the official Twitter application, enter your own Twitter credentialto enable integration, and finally synchronise Twitter handles with contacts on your phone. Twitter is enabled in Safari, Photos, Camera, YouTube, or Maps – you won’t need a separate client if you want to tweet your location, share a photo, video or a webpage. In each of the applications, hitting the share button will instantly reveal a “Tweet” button, which will load the editor displayed in the screenshots above. When you are finished editing the tweet and hit Send, you will hear a audible ping, letting you know that your message was sent successfully. Earlier we showed you that Apple provides the option for you to install the official Twitter application. Once you have done so, authenticated within the app (we were hoping it would utilise the details we had already entered) and enabled Push Notifications, you will be updated each time you receive a new Tweet, as you would an email or text message. decision to partner with Twitter is a logical one. The implementation is basic but it works and doesn’t take away from third-party applications that are able to deliver more in terms of functionality.

Apple To Unveil iCloud And iOS 5 On Monday

Apple has confirmed that it will be announcing iCloud on June 6th and indeed Apple’s event notice indicates that the big highlights will be Mac OS X Lion and the next version of its mobile operating system, iOS 5. This is a decidedly non-Apple way to announce something big like iCloud and making us wonder what other surprises Steve Jobs will have for us at the event.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs and a team of Apple executives will kick off the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with a keynote address on Monday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. At the keynote, Apple will unveil its next generation software – Lion, the eighth major release of Mac OS XiOS 5, the next version of Apple’s advanced mobile operating system which powers the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch; and iCloud, Apple‘s upcoming cloud services offering. WWDC will feature more than 100 technical sessions presented by Apple engineers. Mac developers will see and learn how to develop world-class Mac OS X Lion applications using its latest technologies and capabilities. Mobile developers will be able to explore the latest innovations and capabilities of iOS and learn how to greatly enhance the functionality, performance and design of their apps. All developers can bring their code to the labs and work with Apple engineers. For more details, visit the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference 2011 website at developer.apple.com/wwdc.

Cydle i30 Digital TV Receiver For iPhone

Cydle i30 There are not many things an iPhone cannot do, except maybe receive live TV signals, but now as coming soon is a device that will let your phone pick up live TV without the need for 3G or a WiFi connection and the device called Cydle i30, which lets iPhone users slip it over their smartphone, turning it into a digital TV receiver.

The soon-to-be-released Cydle i30 is a digital TV receiver sled for the iPhone. Featuring its own 1100 mAh battery, it’ll snag that local PBS outlet, four Spanish-language stations, and three full-time religious channels that you just can’t wait to watch. And yes, since your local network stations are required to broadcast their content not only over cable, but also through digital over-the-air broadcasts, you’ll be able to watch just about any network show and enjoy all of the advertising as well. The advantage of the Cydle i30 is that it doesn’t require a Wi-Fi connection or use your precious 3G data plan bits, and many times digital TV is about the only way you’re going to be able to watch local sporting events or soap operas on your iPhone. Cable network apps such as Comcast’s Xfinity TV provide a lot of on-demand content to watch on your iPhone, but not much live TV. They’re also dependent on a Wi-Fi network. No price or expected ship date has been released for the i30.

Rumor: iPhone 4S Coming In September

Appke’s iPhone 5 may be called the iPhone 4s and be carried by Sprint and T-Mobile.This rumor seems to indicate that Apple will be putting the Apple A5 inside the iPhone 5, as many of us expected and Apple A5 is the SoC which powers the iPad 2 and also brings faster dual core CPU and GPU processing to their tablet.he next generation of the iPhone is coming, but not until September and it is expected to look similar to the iPhone 4, but include a faster processor.

Apple’s next iPhone could feature only incremental upgrades, but appear on a broader set of carriers and fifth-generation iPhone will be a relatively minor update dubbed 4S that will bring support for both Sprint and T-Mobile networks in the U.S. “We believe the likelihood of the iPhone 5 launch in September including LTE [Long-Term Evolution] is now remote,” Peter Misek wrote in the co-authored research note, issued May 13. “According to our industry checks, the device should be called iPhone 4S and include minor cosmetic changes, better cameras, A5 dual-core processor, and HSPA+ [Evolved High-Speed Packet Access] support. ”The note also claims, based on “industry checks,” that Sprint, T-Mobile and China Mobile will be announced as new iPhone carriers in time for the holiday season: “On Apple’s last earnings call, management responded to a question about launching the CDMA [Code Division Multiple Access] iPhone at other carriers as ‘we are constantly looking and adding where it makes sense, and you can keep confidence that we’ll continue to do that.’”

AT&T and Verizon currently offer the iPhone in the United States. Despite AT&T’s plans to acquire T-Mobile for $39 billion in cash and stock, however, the smaller carrier has been denying imminent support for the iPhone“T-Mobile USA remains an independent company,” read a note posted on T-Mobile’s corporate Website in March. “The acquisition is expected to be completed in approximately 12 months. We do not offer the iPhone. We offer cutting-edge devices like the Samsung Galaxy S 4G and, coming soon, our new Sidekick 4G.” That statement made it seem as if T-Mobile customers hungry for an iPhone would need to wait at least a year, until AT&T finishes digesting their carrier. AT&T’s deal is a positive for Apple, at least according to a March 21 research note from Ticonderoga Securities analyst Brian White“The company would gain access to T-Mobile’s 34 million subscriber base, versus the 96 million subscribers at AT&T in 4Q10.”

Nonetheless, the presence of the iPhone on Verizon and some combination of T-Mobile and AT&T would make Sprint the odd person out in the domestic smartphone market. Although Sprint offers a line of 4G smartphones with some unique aesthetics and features, the iPhone has proven a massive bestseller—something that no carrier could easily pass up, even if it’s devoted substantial marketing resources and political capital to establishing its own line of products. Anonymous sources speaking to Reuters April 20 suggested that Apple will ship the iPhone 5 (or iPhone 4S) in September, meaning that production for the device will ramp up sometime in either July or August. Sources have also hinted to other publications that the smartphone will hit store shelves sometime closer to the end of 2011. Current rumors suggest the next iPhone will include the A5 processor, more powerful cameras and, perhaps, NFC (near-field communication) technology, which would allow the smartphone to act as an electronic wallet. All those features would give Apple the capability to compete more heartily against the higher-end Android smartphones, whose hardware and software are becoming increasingly robust. As with all Apple rumors, however, multiple grains of salt should be taken until the company makes an actual announcement.
