iRu Intro 103 Netbook

IRU company has launched a new series of stylish netbook iRU Intro 103 – excellent technical characteristics and compact size of the netbook to help stay in touch, and emphasize the unique design of the original owner. The new mini notebook is packing a 10.1-inch display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.

IRU Intro 103It gets a great fashionable features. It is boasts a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor with Intel GMA 3150 integrated graphics and memory controller.

iRu Intro 103 netbook is equipped with 250GB hard drive, web camera, card reader (MMC/SD/MS/MS Pro), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN (10/100 Mbps), D-Sub port for an external monitor, and 1GB/2GB DDR3 of memory.

It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Starter OS. There is no word on pricing of iRu Intro 103 netbook at moment.

Samsung Sliding PC 7 Series Available For Pre-Order

Samsung originally announced their new Sliding PC 7 Series at CES 2011 as a ultra-portable convertible netbook and the  system as a whole was quoted by Samsung as weighting in at 2.2 pounds and boosting full Windows 7 Home Premium style computing in that small package.Now Samsung announced they would charge $699 for the hybrid PC and it’s available for pre-order.

Samsung-Sliding-PC-7-SeriesSamsung’s Series 7 hybrid tablet / netbook show up in online listings back in March and since then Intel’s gone official with Oak Trail and listed this Series 7 tablet as one of the upcoming tablets that will sport the new Atom Z670 processor.It finally goes up for pre-order at Amazon.com, priced at $649. According to Amazon‘s listing, the 7 Series should ship with many of the same specs we noticed at this year’s CES: a 10-inch touchscreen with 1366 x 768-resolution, dual front and rear cameras (1.3 and 3.0 megapixels, respectively), a 32GB SSD, 2GB of RAM and, of course, Intel‘s 1.5GHz Atom Oak Trail Z670 processor, which was originally scheduled to launch in March, before being pushed back to May. The slider will also run on Windows 7 Home Premium, and come equipped with 802.11b/g/n WiFi. When it debuted earlier this year, the Series 7 boasted optional 3G and WiMax features, as well as a six-cell battery that claimed to last up to nine hours on a single charge.

Sony VAIO Laptop With Google Chrome OS

Sony is tipped to be one of the first vendors to launch a Chrome OS notebook and planning to launch a PlayStation tablet, dual-screen clamshell and sliding PC as well as a Chrome OS notebook and VAIO Hybrid PC.Chrome OS is Google’s own Cr-48 reference design with roughly the same dimensions and Sony Hybrid PC is supposed to be thin-and-light and incorporates a Core i7 notebook and delivers up to 16.5 hours of battery life.

Sony VAIO Laptop With Google Chrome OSThe operatings system titled Google Chrome OS has already been dispensed to over 60,000 people as a part of a beta testing program in the past few months.Google has also announced recently that with partners Acer and Samsung will be launching the first Chrome OS notebooks/netbooks for consumers this Summer. After that initial release Google states other makers will be releasing notebooks.Hopefully as a part of the other notebook makers that will be coming shortly after the Summer releases by Acer and Samsung, Sony will be launching a Chrome OS ultra-portable laptop of their own.Sony is currently working on such a notebook for future release. Going by the info released by SI this new notebook will be powered by an ARM based dual-core processor, feature 8 hours of battery life and weight a little over 2 pounds.At the moment SI is being led to believe that this new ARM processor based Chrome OS notebook from Sony will be launched this Summer.

ASUS Eee PC 1015PW Netbook Update to Atom N570

ASUS has updated its netbook with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N570 dual core processor. It is the Asus Eee PC 1015PW netbook, which was submitted in October 2010.

Asus-Eee-Pc-1015pw-purpleThe Eee PC 1015PW is the company’s latest 10 inch netbook with a 1024 x 600 pixel display, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a 250GB hard drive. Up until recently, the mini-laptop’s most distinctive features were the textured pattern on the lid and the purple, gold, and pink color options.

Now the netbook will be one of the first to feature a shiny new Atom N570 processor. Several netbooks from Lenovo and Samsung will also hit the streets with Atom N570 chips soon, and the Acer Aspire One AOD255E is already available with the new processor.

As far as its specs concern, the new iRU Intro 102 netbook is powered by a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor and runs with some choices of operating system i.e MeeGo, Windows 7 Starter or Home Premium.
