DosPara may be one of the most respected computer manufacturers in Japan, but elsewhere it still mostly unknown, but that could all change with the introduction of the Prime Note Galleria QF540. This is a laptop that comes with a high spec, suitable even for demanding gamers and is good for business and home users too. The company is offering the Prime Note Galleria QF540 as a build to order machine, the buyer literally selects the features and specifications to suit their needs and demand expected from a computer. Cydle i30 Digital TV Receiver For iPhone

Cydle i30 There are not many things an iPhone cannot do, except maybe receive live TV signals, but now as coming soon is a device that will let your phone pick up live TV without the need for 3G or a WiFi connection and the device called Cydle i30, which lets iPhone users slip it over their smartphone, turning it into a digital TV receiver.

The soon-to-be-released Cydle i30 is a digital TV receiver sled for the iPhone. Featuring its own 1100 mAh battery, it’ll snag that local PBS outlet, four Spanish-language stations, and three full-time religious channels that you just can’t wait to watch. And yes, since your local network stations are required to broadcast their content not only over cable, but also through digital over-the-air broadcasts, you’ll be able to watch just about any network show and enjoy all of the advertising as well. The advantage of the Cydle i30 is that it doesn’t require a Wi-Fi connection or use your precious 3G data plan bits, and many times digital TV is about the only way you’re going to be able to watch local sporting events or soap operas on your iPhone. Cable network apps such as Comcast’s Xfinity TV provide a lot of on-demand content to watch on your iPhone, but not much live TV. They’re also dependent on a Wi-Fi network. No price or expected ship date has been released for the i30.

Sprint announces the Samsung Epic 4G

It might have a laughably bad name at the Samsung Epic 4G’s specs.A part of the Galaxy S family, the Epic 4G is Sprint’s second 4G WiMAX smartphone.

To go on sale later this year for an undisclosed price, the Epic 4G has a 4″ WVGA Super AMOLED display, sliding QWERTY keypad, 5 megapixel camera with 720p video capture, front-facing camera for video calling, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, mobile hotspot support for five devices, six-axis motion sensor, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, and 512MB RAM / 1GB ROM. It will come to market running Android 2.1 — with a bit of help from Samsung’s TouchWiz 3.0, naturally — but Sprint has gone on the record as saying an update to Android 2.2 won’t be that far off once the Epic 4G is released.

Nokia announces X5-01 plus Nokia X6 8GB

Nokia presented Nokia X5-01 – a rather unusually shaped squarish slider with a full QWERTY keyboard. Nokia also refreshed Nokia X6 with a new 8GB version.

Nokia X5-01 runs Symbian S60 3rd edition and packs a 2.36-inch display of QVGA resolution. It’s got quad-band GSM connectivity and tri-band HSDPA support for world-wide roaming. Connectivity is further complemented by Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 and the microUSB and 3.5mm audio jack.

Speaking of the 3.5mm audio jack, the Nokia X5-01 is touted as having excellent sound quality and loud speakers. Music consumption on the phone will be enhanced by clever new gestures. For instance, you can spin the phone to jump to a random track.

In select markets Nokia X5-01 will be offered in Comes With Music package.

Besides an ear for music, Nokia X5-01 also has a knack for messaging and social networking. Besides integration of popular social networking services (Facebook, Twitter, Hi5, and MySpace), X5-01 also comes with popular Instant Messengers and support for multiple email accounts. Plus clever gestures pertain to messaging as well. A shake of the phone will show you your unread messages.

The Nokia X5-01 comes equipped with a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, but so far there is no word whether the camera has auto focus or not. There are no details on video recording either.

Rumours emerged in September that Sony is preparing a Vaio notebook with full 3D capabilities for release early next year. The upcoming system reportedly features a 3D button for converting 2D images into 3D images and represents Sony’s ambitions in the 3D segment of the consumer PC market.Sony recalled thousands of Sony Vaio VPCF11 and VPCCW2 notebooks after discovering a flaw in their internal temperature management system. The error allowed those systems to overheat to the point where their cases and keyboards could potentially melt and users could be burned. The Tokyo-based conglomerate advised owners of F-Series and C-Series Vaio notebooks purchased this year to install a firmware update provided by Sony to fix the problem.
